MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPPORT
As you know support is free and quite timely. We need some information to able to process your problem.
We are now requesting that you supply at least the following.

FOR BOTH VERSIONS OF IUVx

  • All log files : There's no passwords in these files so you will not compromise your company security.
  • All the *.INI and *.log files found in c:\program files\Inoculan Update v?\ (check the subdirectories).
  • Avupdate. INI found in sys:\Inoculan ( or where you installed the server portion of Inoculan).
  • UpdNT*.INI also found in the same location as Avupdate. INI.

FOR INOCULAN UPDATE V2 OR AND AUTO UPDATE FOR INOCULAN UPDATE V2

Inoculan Update.INI contains one password. It is encoded and YES we can decode them. If this is a problem then wipe out the password entries (there's only 1).

FOR INOCULAN UPDATE V3

  • Download this program and extract it to the C:\Program Files\Inoculan Update 3\ and add the results to the email msg.
We need the registry entries found at :
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Inoculan Update 3

  • Extract these entries to a TEXT file by selecting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Inoculan Update 3
  • Click on Registry/Export registry file.
  • Select a name to save under (preferably your company name that was used to register with)
  • Once saved rename it to a TXT extension.

There are passwords there. To delete them once the file as been exported and renamed simply double click on it (Notepad will open it) and search for Password and delete all after the ='s. There will be at least one per server entry, skip the FTP ones since they do not concern your company itself.

    GENERAL

A lengthy (every one says a brief) explanation of the problem / unexpected result etc...
You will receive a response / fix / explanation within 24 hrs (most of you know that it is usually within a few hours).
