On a pure Windows 95 while trying to install the ISU you might encounter
the following error when we try to register both Resize.ocx and Chlklsb25.ocx
Unable to register the DLL/OCX: LoadLibrary Failed; code1157. Download the MFC updates for Windows 95 to solve this problem then re-install ISU. After many request for a version for server less networks we have decided to develop ISU. (Last update September 05 2002) It comes in 2 parts: ISUSVR.EXE (version 1.0.5) This program runs on ONE of the computers in the network and checks for the signature updates from ftp.cai.com for the Win9x Inoculan. You may schedule
it to poll the ftp site once a day on all 7 days (configurable). It will then notify the computers to update themselves. The computers have the ability to poll the server application once an hour to sure be that they don't miss an update. Once the update is received the user is questioned as to whether they would like to reboot now (if it is convenient for them), else the next time they reboot the update will be installed. The administrator may configure the client as not to display the menu options like EXIT, OPEN ETC.. ISUCLNT.EXE (version 1.0.3)
Sits in the system tray and either awaits a signal from
the server application or polls the server application once an hour
for updates.
